Calligraphy on a hanging scroll is regarded as the most important tea utensil.
Many of the calligraphy are derived from Zen words for the themes of the tea party.
You can practice classical words onto a colorful paper or Japanese traditional papers for your souvenirs.

茶会のテーマとなる言葉の多くが禅語で書かれています。

Flowers are normally arranged within a petit teahouse. Arrangements of flowers are free at the same time at random as if you would feel the nature of the wild nature.
Only seasonal flowers will be selected for the arrangement so it is highly recommended especially for a certain period of the year that enjoys a variety of flowers.
